Your website's platform has an end date. Plan the move before it arrives.
We move and upgrade sites built on Drupal, Joomla, Kentico, Umbraco and old PHP before their security fixes stop. It starts with a 5-day inventory at no charge, and ends with a fixed quote and a date in writing.
Drupal 10 security fixes end December 9, 2026. Typical site moves from $4,900.

When security fixes stop
A site past its date keeps running. It just stops getting security fixes, and every new vulnerability stays open. Dates checked October 31, 2026 against each vendor's own lifecycle page where one exists.
| Platform | Security fixes end | What we usually recommend |
|---|---|---|
| Joomla 3 | August 17, 2023, ended | Move. The next version is a rewrite anyway. |
| Drupal 7 | January 5, 2025, ended | Move. Drupal 7 to 10 or 11 is a rebuild. |
| Joomla 4 | October 2025, ended | Upgrade to Joomla 5, or move. |
| PHP 8.1 | December 31, 2025, ended | Upgrade PHP after testing the plugins. |
| Drupal 10 | December 9, 2026 | Upgrade to Drupal 11. Not a move. |
| Umbraco 13 | December 14, 2026 | Upgrade or move. |
| Kentico Xperience 13 | December 31, 2026 | Move or migrate. |
| PHP 8.2 | December 31, 2026 | Upgrade PHP to 8.4. |
How a move runs
Nothing switches until the new site matches the old one, and the old site stays ready to come back.
Inventory, 5 days
We crawl every page and read the admin. You get the list of what moves, the risks ranked, and a fixed quote. No charge.
Build
Agents move templates and content in bulk. A senior engineer checks every template and reviews every change. You see a demo every week.
Parity check
Pages, links, forms, search tags and speed are compared with the old site before anyone says launch.
Switch
DNS, redirects and forms change in one window, with a rollback ready. Then the site and the code are yours.
In the fixed quote
- The inventory and a redirect plan for every old URL
- Templates and content moved to a supported stack
- Forms, logins, member areas and integrations listed in the inventory
- Parity checks: visual comparison, links, forms, search tags, speed
- Accessibility targeting WCAG 2.2 AA
- The switch window and the rollback
Quoted separately
- New features or a redesign the inventory did not list
- Changes after launch, by your team or by us
- Ongoing support, quoted per month
If the job turns out bigger than quoted, we stop and tell you in writing, with the options and a price for each. Nothing is billed that you did not approve.
Pricing
Fixed before work starts, in US dollars. Quotes in Canadian dollars on request.
Typical site move
From $4,900
fixed price, live 4 to 8 weeks after the quote
Most moves cost $4,900 to $9,900. The inventory prices logins, member areas and integrations up front, so the quote holds. Payment milestones follow a written acceptance list, not the calendar.
Ask for the inventoryQuestions
Will we lose our search rankings?
Rankings are the search engines' call. What we control: every old URL answers 200 or one 301, mapped and checked before the switch. Broken links are what sink rankings after a move.
Why not just upgrade?
Sometimes that is the right call. Drupal 10 to 11 is usually an upgrade, and we will say so on the first call. A move pays off when the next version is a rewrite anyway, as with Drupal 7 or Joomla 3.
Can our team edit the new site?
Yes. Content lives in plain files with an editor on top, so your team edits pages without a ticket to us.
Do you keep a copy of our data?
No. Content moves once, into your accounts. Logins and user data stay on a supported system you control. When the work ends, our access ends with it.
Who does the work?
Named senior engineers at DIGI117 Ltd. in Vancouver, introduced before the quote is signed. Our founder, Vadym Chernega, reviews every engagement.
